Raw Mill System
limestone, clay, silica sand and iron component – are mixed together to obtain the desired chemical composition, and raw mix is pulverized in the raw mill system to achieve favorable chemical reaction for clinker in the rotary kiln. Existing raw mill system consists of an impact hammer mill, a roller press and a tube mill. Exhaust gas from the kiln system is used for drying raw mix, and passes through a newly installed gas-conditioning tower and three units of electrostatic precipitators to control dust emissions from the stack as mandated by government regulations.
 
 Kiln System
The kiln system comprises a preheater tower, a rotary kiln and a cooler. In the preheater, feed material is prepared by heat exchange with hot gas from the kiln and calcined. Clinkering reactions occur under the burning zone temperature of 1,500 C in the kiln, and clinker nodules are quenched with ambient air in the cooler. This system, NSP (New Suspension Preheater), is contributing greatly toward increase in production, energy saving, long life of refractory linings and high quality of clinker.
 
 
Cement Grinding System
 Cement is produced by milling clinker with gypsum for setting time control, and   mineral additives for blended cement. One roller press and seven ball mills are installed. The seventh mill, which has the biggest capacity of 60 metric tons per hour, was commissioned in April 2005 to increase output. A recent addition to the system is the third cement silo in line with the Company's new product, the Grand Premium cement, to complement the original products New Grand Portland and New Grand Pozzolan.
 
Cement Packing System
Over the years, TCPI replaced the old, costly and dusty packing machines with new and highly efficient units, in order to supply customers with accurately packed bags at faster speed of delivery. The system, together with bulk cement loading facilities, was further improved with the addition of big-bag loading facilities to supply 1.0 ton packed cement to customers requiring such packaging.
